Gordon Ramsay's restaurant group has reported UK revenues above £100 million for the year to December 28 2025, up 3% from the previous year, while describing its 22 Bishopsgate site in London as a “star performer”.
The celebrity chef's business operates 102 restaurants worldwide, including 34 in the UK, under brands such as Lucky Cat, Hell's Kitchen and Bread Street Kitchen & Bar.
Financial results and Ebitda growth
Newly released accounts show UK earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) reached £8.5 million, up 4% year-on-year, while the global group posted £14.3 million, 12% higher than the previous year.
Despite these figures, the UK business recorded an operating loss of £5.8 million for the latest financial year.
Bishopsgate venue and Netflix boost
Chief executive Andy Wenlock called it an “incredible year” for the business, describing 22 Bishopsgate as the “star performer, with five restaurant experiences in one venue”.
“Coupled with our expansion drive has been a commitment to improving underlying profitability, resulting in record Ebitda for the group and UK businesses,” he added.
The 22 Bishopsgate site, located in a City of London skyscraper, houses Lucky Cat, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar and Gordon Ramsay High restaurants, as well as a cooking academy. Sales at the venue this year to date are more than double last year's, according to the business.
Franchise growth plans
Ramsay was the subject of Netflix documentary Being Gordon Ramsay, which aired in February and followed the restaurateur's life and career. The company said the programme's success helped boost bookings at its restaurants this year.
The group expects franchise and licensing partnerships to play an increasingly important role in its growth, alongside investment in the restaurants it owns.
