Rag'n'Bone Man has updated fans from a hospital bed in Lithuania after cancelling a gig at the last minute. The 40-year-old singer, real name Rory Graham, had been due to perform in Kaunas on Tuesday but his team announced the show was off because he had 'fallen ill'.
Posting on Instagram, the star shared a series of images showing him topless in hospital, connected to wires and giving a thumbs down. He wrote: 'Being stuck in hospital in Lithuania was not on my list of shit to do before you die! Anyone watching anything good? I've got lots of time to kill. Sorry to anyone that had tickets to my shows Trust me I'd rather be on stage!'
Fans sent get-well messages, including DJ Premier who wrote: 'Get strong and back on stage to enjoy what you're here to do and love RORY. You'll bounce back.' Rugby player Ellis Genge also commented, while TV presenter Alison Hammond liked the post.
The cancellation came after the BRIT Award winner performed at festivals in Romania and Latvia last week. His team said: 'We know many of you were looking forward to the show and may have travelled or made special plans, we truly appreciate your understanding at this time.' They added that they would work to reschedule the Lithuanian show and advised fans to contact their ticket vendor for refunds.
