Queen drummer Roger Taylor has collaborated with his daughter Tigerlily Taylor on a special edition of his solo album Outsider. The 27-year-old model and artist designed the artwork for the Millennial Pink and Black Limited Edition Picture Disc Vinyl, which features a hand-drawn image of Taylor standing alone on a cliff.
The collaboration came about during the pandemic, when Taylor’s tour with Queen and Adam Lambert was postponed. He used the time to work on his first solo album in nearly a decade, releasing the single Isolation before the full record arrived last year.
Taylor praised his daughter’s work, saying: “I don’t know whether to frame it and put it on my wall or put it on my record player! Well done Tigerlily.” He added: “The vinyl picture disc of Outsider looks so beautiful.”
The limited edition of 2,000 copies is available for pre-order ahead of its release on February 11, exclusively from the Queen official store. Outsider also features a collaboration with KT Tunstall on the track We’re All Just Trying To Get By.
