Jennifer Aniston has spoken publicly for the first time about her new relationship with celebrity hypnotherapist Jim Curtis, describing him as 'very special, very normal, and very kind' in a recent interview with Elle magazine.
The 56-year-old actress confirmed the romance earlier this month by posting a birthday tribute to Curtis on Instagram, and has now shared more details about their bond. 'He's quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people,' Aniston said, adding that Curtis 'wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity.'
Curtis, who turned 50 this month, is a wellness coach and author who previously worked in the stock market before moving into health and wellness. His client list includes Courteney Cox, Julianne Hough and Miranda Kerr, among others.
In the same interview, Aniston also reflected on the death of her Friends co-star Matthew Perry two years ago. 'It was so alarming and shocking, yet not shocking,' she recalled. 'He was a brilliant human being and an extraordinary talent, loved deeply, and wanted happiness more than anything. It makes me sad that he never really achieved that, because he deserved it.'
