Meghan Markle's Princess Lilibet Photo with Beyoncé T-Shirt Goes Viral
Princess Lilibet's Beyoncé T-Shirt Sparks Online Frenzy

The Duchess of Sussex has sparked conversation on social media once again after sharing a photo of her five-year-old daughter, Princess Lilibet, wearing a T-shirt featuring a drawing of Beyoncé alongside the slogan "B is for Beyoncé". The singer is depicted wearing large hoop earrings in the illustration on the front of the T-shirt.

Meghan Markle has previously spoken about online safety, particularly for women and children, and has often discussed the intense public scrutiny she has faced. In a recent interview, Meghan described herself as one of the "most scrutinised people on the planet".

While Meghan and Prince Harry have largely avoided showing their children's faces on social media, some critics have questioned the couple's approach to privacy. The Duke and Duchess have repeatedly said they want to give Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet as normal a childhood as possible while continuing to share selected glimpses of family life online.

The T-shirt Princess Lilibet wore was sold by the National Women's History Museum and retails for $48 (£35). Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, have been friends with Beyoncé for years and last year they also attended one of her Cowboy Carter concerts.

The T-shirt's description on the brand's website says the design was created by a 10-year-old girl named Pearl as part of a mother-and-daughter project based in the US. It reads: "Inspired by her family's deep love of art and music, this Beyoncé portrait was drawn by 10-year-old Pearl. She has an innate ability to capture the spirit of some of her family's favorite and most inspiring people. Designed by a mother/daughter team in the USA. Made of polyester, organic cotton and rayon. This tri-blend is made from recycled plastic bottles."

Meghan shared the photo of Lilibet wearing the T-shirt as part of a carousel on Instagram which she captioned, "Springing into summer." The post also included a black-and-white image of the former Suits actress relaxing on the grass, a snap of Harry playing with their son, Prince Archie, and an image, taken from the back, of the Sussexes hugging.
