Prince William has spoken about raising daughters after his daughter, Princess Charlotte, was praised as "the highlight" during a backstage meeting with Taylor Swift and her fiancé, Travis Kelce. The comments came during an episode of the New Heights podcast, co-hosted by Travis Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce, released hours before Travis married the pop superstar at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Royal Meeting Backstage at Eras Tour
In June 2024, William took his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, to see Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concert in London. The group met backstage, where the children were introduced to the singer and her fiancé. Travis Kelce described the encounter as "honestly one of the coolest moments ever," adding that he and Jason were nervous about meeting the Royal Family.
Jason Kelce, a retired NFL star, recalled: "Charlotte or Princess Charlotte was still the highlight for me. I had four daughters as well, so, I mean, she was great." William responded: "Now, congratulations. Having four daughters. I don't know how you do that." Jason replied: "That is definitely a difficult task. The hardest job."
