Princess Andre, the 18-year-old daughter of Peter Andre and Katie Price, has expressed her gratitude to fans following the premiere of her new ITV2 reality series, The Princess Diaries. The first episode aired on Sunday 10 August, and Princess took to Instagram to share her excitement, posting a photo of her TV screen showing the show ranked number 2 on ITVX.
In her message, she wrote: "Honestly, wow thank you so much for the support from everyone. And to all the people being nice I love you x." She added, "Ps. Can't believe I'm number 2 on ITVX." The series offers viewers a behind-the-scenes look at her life, including her beauty ventures and personal challenges.
Speaking ahead of the show's release on This Morning, Princess described herself as "independent" from her parents. She explained: "I got older and a lot more things have come in for me solo. A lot of things I used to do was with my parents and now I'm doing a show that is independent and actually focused on me." She noted that the timing was right because her life is currently busy and she wants people to see it.
During the show, Princess opens up about her upbringing, revealing that at her mother's house there were few rules. She said: "Down mum's house there weren't very many rules. You could kind of do whatever you want. Obviously there were boundaries, but it was go to bed when you want and eat what you want, but it was really fun and I do have a lot of good memories." Her brother Junior added that at their father's house, it was relaxing but with rules.
The premiere comes after Peter Andre shared an emotional tribute for Princess's 18th birthday in June, posting a carousel of images and writing: "Not enough words. So much love. My little girl is no longer a little girl. Keep being you. Kind, funny, sensitive, considerate and a bit bonkers… oh, and a diva. But a diva full of heart." He assured her he is always there for her.
