Princess Andre has opened up about her struggles with trust when it comes to romance, describing her mother Katie Price's turbulent love life as an "eye opener". The 18-year-old star of ITV's The Princess Diaries said she keeps her guard up after witnessing her mother's experiences with men.
In the first episode of the second series, Princess told a friend: "I think about my mum - she's had so many people do her wrong, it's an eye opener and so my guard is up. I don't want another relationship yet, I want to be confident in myself first." She added that she does not trust anyone, particularly after people started messaging her when they learned she was filming the show.
Katie Price's love life has been highly publicised, with multiple engagements and marriages. She was first engaged at Princess's age to Gladiator star Warren Furman, and later had relationships with Dane Bowers, Dwight Yorke (father of Harvey), and Gareth Gates. She married Peter Andre in 2005, with whom she had Princess and Junior, and later married Alex Reid, Kieran Hayler, and most recently Lee Andrews in early 2025.
Last week, Princess and her brother Junior revealed they found out about their mother's marriage to Lee Andrews via a text message in a family group chat. Princess described her mother as "very impulsive", calling the news "impulse on a whole other level".
