Princess Andre has spoken out following the end of her parents' long-running public feud. The 18-year-old described the truce between Katie Price and Peter Andre as a 'relief' and expressed happiness that they have agreed to move forward on good terms.
The former couple, who were married for four years until their 2009 split, had engaged in a bitter war of words for over a decade. However, earlier this month they issued a joint statement announcing they had signed a legal contract vowing never to speak negatively about each other again.
In an interview with The Sun's Fabulous magazine, Princess said: 'For myself and Junior, it's nice to know that life will be easier for everybody. It is definitely a relief, and I feel like now as a family, we can all be happy.' She added that she hopes the truce will stop people asking her and her brother about their parents' issues.
The joint statement, shared by Katie on Instagram and later by Peter, read: 'Katie Price and Peter Andre have decided to close the door on the past and move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect. We are both focused on creating a calm and supportive environment for our children.'
Princess, who recently launched her own reality show, had previously denied any feud with her mother. Now, with the legal agreement in place, both parents are focusing on their respective families: Peter with his wife Dr. Emily, and Katie with her fourth husband Lee Andrews in Dubai.
