Princess and Junior Andre have revealed that they would join I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! but on one major condition: they would only participate as a duo. The siblings made the revelation during an appearance on ITV's This Morning on Monday, July 27.
Parents Met on the Show
Their parents, pop singer Peter Andre and former glamour model Katie Price, famously met on the reality show in 2004. Katie finished in fifth place, while Peter came third in the series won by Kerry Katona. Peter and Katie were married from 2005 to 2009 and are parents to Junior, 21, and Princess, 19. The pair had a public falling out last year but issued a joint statement in February, announcing they had "decided to close the door on the past."
This Morning Interview
Interviewed by Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, the Andres were asked about potential ventures including a podcast, Race Across the World, and I'm a Celebrity. Princess responded: "You know what? They all sound like amazing ideas. We'd actually love to do all of them. Can't confirm or deny."
When Dermot noted the surreal nature of them being the first "I'm a Celeb babies," Princess admitted they would love to head to Australia for the series—but only if they could compete as a duo, similar to Jedward on Big Brother. "I think we would do it," she said. Junior added: "Yeah, we have thought it through and we definitely would do it. It's just they need to come to us." Princess emphasised they "want to do it together," explaining they feel comfortable on TV due to growing up in front of the camera.
Princess Diaries Update
Princess also teased the third series of her ITV2 reality show The Princess Diaries, which follows her attempt to make a name for herself. She described her mother Katie Price as "a character" with "no filter," adding: "I love her so much. It is funny to film with her because I actually said my show is PG, well meant to be PG, and then she comes on it. It's so funny."
