Princess and Junior Andre emotional after Harvey day out

Princess Andre and her brother Junior Andre were left 'emotional' after spending the day with their older sibling, Harvey.

At the time of filming for Princess' third series of her ITV show, The Princess Diaries, Harvey was living in a residential home, though he is currently thought to be staying with his mother Katie Price. Harvey, 24, has Prader-Willi syndrome and requires full-time care.

Harvey was diagnosed with the rare genetic disorder shortly after his birth in 2002, which causes weak muscles and slow development. He also has Septo-optic dysplasia, ADHD, and autism.

Introducing Harvey's carer

On Princess's series, launching Tuesday on ITVX, viewers are introduced to Harvey's carer, Lucinda. Princess explains that Lucinda looks after Harvey when their mother Katie cannot visit.

During filming in April and May, Katie was in Dubai, and Harvey missed his mother. Princess says in the episode: 'He loves mum so much so if she's away for longer than a day, he really misses her.'

A day out

Princess and Junior meet up with Harvey and Lucinda for the episode, taking their brother to a sensory play area. There, Harvey enjoyed the colours, lights, and bubbles, and was seen laughing with his siblings. Junior then treated Harvey to his favourite food, fish and chips, though Harvey humorously noted Junior had not quite got the order right, asking for a fish cake.

Both Harvey and Princess had Junior running around after them, fetching drinks and an ice cream. Junior confessed his siblings were 'demanding little f*****s,' also calling Harvey a 'little g*t'. Harvey thanked Junior, and Princess took a photo of him grinning with his ice cream.

Emotional confessions

Princess made an emotional confession, with Junior soon echoing her. Princess said: 'Whenever we take Harvey out it makes me realise how many more things I wanna experience with him. We're all adults now, we're the three oldest siblings and it's really nice for us to be able to hang out together.'

Junior added: 'I love seeing him happy. It actually gets me emotional cos he's our brother and we know what makes him happy.' Princess noted it was sad saying goodbye, as Harvey missed living with his family.

Harvey told his siblings he loved them, using his arms to show how much. The siblings hugged and vowed to meet again soon, before Princess and Junior updated their mother Katie on their day.

Harvey's progress

Junior also discussed Harvey's progress in communicating over recent years. He explained: 'If he's angry he'll go, "Harvey's angry" or "this stupid dog," in other words, he is expressing what is annoying him. He's just amazing.'

The Princess Diaries launches on Tuesday, 28 July on ITVX.
