Prince Harry's Love Island Confession and Surprising Reveals

Prince Harry has made a series of surprising revelations during an appearance on The Joe Marler Will See You Now podcast on BBC Sounds. The Duke of Sussex discussed his viewing habits, famous friends, and childhood experiences, offering a rare glimpse into his personal life away from royal duties.

Love Island Confession

When asked about his favourite trashy television show, Harry admitted: "Love Island." Co-host Jake Bhardwaj, taken aback, asked: "You watch Love Island?" Harry clarified: "I have watched, I have watched Love Island. God, I don't watch Love Island. I have watched Love Island. There's a big difference there, Jake." Harry did not specify which season he watched, but his rumoured ex-girlfriend Camilla Thurlow appeared on the show in 2017, where she met her now-husband Jamie Jewitt.

Famous Phone Contacts

Despite his connections to King Charles, Kim Kardashian, and Oprah Winfrey, Harry named former rugby players Dylan Hartley and James Haskell as his most famous phone contacts. "Probably Dylan Hartley, or James Haskell. Decent. Right, you've seen them play rugby," he told the hosts.

'Not Ginger'

Harry also addressed a common misconception about his appearance. When asked what people often get wrong about him, he said: "Uh, that I'm not ginger." He elaborated: "People think I'm ginger, but I'm more sort of like, um, sunset auburn." Marler and Bhardwaj laughed, with Bhardwaj joking: "Can we not laugh at the Duke, please?"

Autoglass Repair and Other Jingles

The Duke demonstrated his familiarity with British TV commercials. When prompted with "Autoglass repair…" he immediately responded: "Autoglass replace!" He added: "But that's on TV, we all... I had a TV, you had a TV, right? ... We don't have different commercials, just so we're clear. Like, different estates don't have different commercials." He also recalled the phrase "No likey..." from Take Me Out, completing it with "No lighty."

Bullying at School

Harry revealed he was bullied at school for his hair colour. After being laughed at for saying he is not ginger, he said: "Unless you want to call me ginge. You know? I got bullied a lot at school, called carrot top, right?" He attended Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College, breaking royal tradition by choosing Eton over Gordonstoun.
