Prince Harry has contradicted himself over his hair colour, saying on a recent podcast that he is not ginger.
Appearing on the podcast "Joe Marler Will See You Now", recorded during his UK visit weeks ago, the Duke of Sussex was asked to reveal something people often get wrong about him.
Harry replied: "Uh, that I'm not ginger. Yeah, people think I'm ginger. But, I'm more sort of like, sunset. Auburn."
Previous statement in Netflix docuseries
This contradicts what Harry said in the 2022 Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, where he referred to himself as "ginger".
Discussing his family's first impressions of Meghan Markle, Harry said: "Some of them didn't quite know what to do with themselves. I think they were surprised. Maybe they were surprised that the ginger could land such a beautiful woman. And such an intelligent woman."
The podcast episode, which also covered grooming routines, the Invictus Games and general life, was released a week after Harry's visit.
