Prince Harry has been issued a stern five-word message by broadcaster Tom Sykes on The Royals Uncensored, a spin-off of Piers Morgan’s YouTube show. The journalist appeared alongside panellist Katie Nicholl to discuss Harry’s demand for beefed-up security when he returns to the United Kingdom later this summer for an Invictus Games event.
Panelist Fumes Over Harry’s Demands
Nicholl fumed: “Prince Harry had been given everything he wanted on a plate. There is one massive U-turn, and we are told that the whole trip is in chaos. What the hell is going on?” Sykes then insisted: “If you want to be safe, the one thing that is recommended by security experts is you don’t go around shouting from the very highest rooftops, ‘We don’t have any security!’”
The Five-Word Rebuke
Sykes then said: “Harry, if you’re watching this,” before delivering the vicious five words: “You’re not getting security, ever.” He went on: “Let’s be honest – if Charles wanted him to have security, he could click his fingers and give him security. He doesn’t want him to have security, because they want to be able to control when he comes back to the United Kingdom.”
Sykes Criticizes Harry’s Deal
Sykes added: “So currently, as it is, he says he has this terrible, terrible deal – actually, he has a pretty good deal. He gives 28 days notice, he gets a dedicated number for a liaison officer at the heart of the Met Police, which is more than most people get! You try calling a policeman now and see if you can get through to somebody! Most people would give their right arm to have a dedicated police officer at Scotland Yard.”
Sympathy Drained
Sykes continued: “Before all this happened, I did think there was a case for him having beefed up security when he did come, but I have to say the way that he has behaved now has drained anybody’s sympathy or patience, with this ridiculous charade. I actually cannot believe he’s still talking about this, and still as of today releasing this completely partial report saying he is going to be subject to a terrorist attack!”
