Prince Harry Ends Hopes of William Reunion After 'Huge Betrayal'
Prince Harry Ends Hopes of William Reunion After Betrayal

A Sky News reporter has warned that Prince Harry has destroyed any hope of reuniting with his older brother William following his recent visit to the UK. The Duke of Sussex completed his five-day trip to the UK last week, carrying out various engagements linked to his charities, the Invictus Games, WellChild and Scotty's Little Soldiers. However, the highly anticipated visit was marked by disappointment after he lost a High Court case against the publisher of the Daily Mail on the first day of his trip. He appeared at events solo, without his wife Meghan Markle, due to security concerns.

Royal Expert on William's Silence

Royal correspondent Louise Roberts discussed the impact of Harry's visit on his relationship with William. Host Gabriella Power noted reports that King Charles is fed up with the drama surrounding Harry, and observed William's silence. Roberts explained: "I see William's silence as a strategy in itself. It was very effectively used by the Queen; she would say nothing except in an extreme situation. William is doing what he's always done, which is just say nothing and move on and be dignified."

Roberts added: "He said nothing after Oprah, he said nothing after 'Spare', even though there were oodles of things he could have commented on. William has always been above the grain because he is the future monarch. So Harry may have made baby steps in repairing his relationship with his father, but as far as William is concerned, it's absolutely not. That is still frozen solid."

Viewers shared their thoughts on the crumbling relationship. One user said: "Why would William be interested in any further relationship with a brother who has done nothing but continuously betray and insult him, and indeed the whole family, including the Crown?" Another commented: "Harry lambasted Catherine, and William, and they will never forget that." A third added: "Reconciliation isn't owed to people who've never said sorry. Accountability first, forgiveness second. William has every right to keep his boundaries after everything that was said about the family, especially about his late grandmother."

Later in the week, Harry reunited with his wife and children for a family reunion with King Charles and Queen Camilla. The Sussex children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, had not seen their grandfather in four years before visiting the resting place of their late grandmother, Princess Diana.
