Prince Harry breaks silence on 'broken relationship' with family

Prince Harry has broken his silence on his "broken relationship" with his brother Prince William and father, King Charles. In an interview with GQ, he addressed the state of his family ties.

Harry on family grief

Asked whether he grieves the relationship he once had with his family, Harry told GQ: "Yes, of course. I think from a family perspective, again, another massively relatable issue for so many people, sibling disagreements, broken relationships between kids and their parents, kids and one parent."

He added: "That continues to come up with me the whole time with people that I speak to, so I know how relatable it is. People maybe look at us and go, 'How are you gonna work it out? Maybe that will help me work my stuff out.'"

Timing of the remarks

The comments came on the same day the Royal Family welcomed the Sultan of Oman to Windsor. Further details are expected to follow.
