Reports describe this as a 'huge transition' for George, pivotal to his preparation as future King. A family friend told The Sun: 'He may be as tall as his mum, but George is quite a self-conscious and awkward teen. He's not an extrovert or a show-off. In fact, he's quite a sensitive soul who's very into conservation, like his father and grandfather, and music.'
Birthday Celebrations and Family Time
George is set to celebrate becoming a teenager and leaving Lambrook School with a special birthday party. The Prince and Princess of Wales are known to be 'very hands-on' when it comes to organising them. Previous parties have been football-themed, reflecting George's passion for the sport, which he shares with his father. This year's theme is not yet known.
As a present, the future King could receive a new Aston Villa strip, a guitar, or a hockey stick, according to reports. The celebrations are expected to continue at Anmer Hall, the family's country home in Norfolk, where George will enjoy outdoor pursuits like sailing, swimming, and picnics during his 'last summer of childhood'.

The source close to the Waleses added: 'George is very aware of who he is, and that has made him extremely cautious with friendships. You have to feel for him, really. It's a very difficult thing to know you will be the future King of England. He hasn't faced up to the enormity of his future, but he does take his position seriously.'
