Prince George will start at Eton College this autumn, following in the footsteps of his father, Prince William, who attended from 1995 to 2000. Prince Harry also attended from 1998 to 2003.
Private Study-Bedrooms for All
The 13-year-old, eldest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, will board at the school and have his own room. According to Eton's website, every boy has his own study-bedroom from the beginning, with no shared rooms. The site states: "Boys thus have their own private space and are required to organise themselves and to develop self-discipline in meeting tasks and deadlines."
A Different Experience for George
While William spoke positively about his time at Eton, royal author Robert Jobson highlighted a key difference in George's experience. In a piece for The Daily Mail, Jobson said: "The difference is everything. William walked into Eton carrying his parents' marital war. George walks in from a settled home. Two parents, together, who built him a base and guard it fiercely. Confidence is not taught. It is absorbed."
George's younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, continue their studies at Lambrook School.
