The 26-year-old right-back has been instrumental for Spain, scoring two goals in six matches, including a crucial semi-final strike against France that earned him a man of the match award. However, in 2022, Porro was forced to deny allegations of an affair with Magui Corceiro, the then-girlfriend of Chelsea and Portugal forward Joao Felix.
Affair Rumours Denied
Reports emerged that Porro and Corceiro were seen kissing in the VIP section of a Lisbon nightclub while Corceiro was still in a three-year relationship with Felix. The rumours intensified after Porro handed his match-worn shirt directly to Corceiro at the end of Sporting Lisbon's final fixture of the season, ignoring young fans. Porro, who was single at the time, denied any infidelity but admitted to a "special relationship" with Corceiro, stating: "The situation that is happening yesterday and today is very uncomfortable... I have a special relationship with her, no one is being unfaithful to anyone."
Corceiro's Response
Corceiro, a model and actress, also denied the allegations, insisting the two were close friends. She said: "If I wanted to be kissing someone, in an intimate moment, it would not be in Lust In Rio, much less in the VIP area... There were no kisses, there was nothing." She added that she met Porro months earlier at a group dinner and described him as "incredible." Felix and Corceiro officially announced their breakup in June 2023, with Felix later moving to Chelsea and then to Saudi club Al-Nassr in 2025.
Porro's Current Relationship
Since late 2023, Porro has been in a relationship with Maria Hurtado, with whom he welcomed a baby boy in September 2025. Hurtado, who lives with Porro in north London, has attended all of Spain's World Cup matches and shared a photo of Porro's goal celebration—a love heart hand gesture—with the caption: "We are so proud of you. One more step and no matter what, you've already made history."
Porro's performances have drawn interest from top clubs, with Tottenham likely to receive offers for the full-back after the tournament. His breakout World Cup has solidified his reputation as one of the best right-backs in the game.
