Polish Soap Star Magdalena Majtyka Found Dead in Forest

Magdalena Majtyka, a 42-year-old Polish actress known for her roles in the soap operas Na Wspólnej and Pierwsza Miłość, has been found dead in a forest near Biskupice Oławskie in southern Poland. She had been missing since March 4, when she left her home to meet a former schoolmate but failed to return.

Her abandoned Opel Corsa was discovered on a remote road, having collided with a tree. Within 24 hours, her body was found approximately 650 feet away among the trees. Authorities have ruled out crash injuries as the cause of death, and no evidence suggests another person's involvement.

Public prosecutor Damian Pownuk confirmed that histological and toxicological tests will be conducted to determine the final cause of death. The circumstances remain unexplained pending forensic examination.
