Lottie Moss, the 26-year-old adult star and half-sister of supermodel Kate Moss, was rushed to hospital last week after suffering a seizure caused by an overdose of the diabetes drug Ozempic. The reality TV personality, known for appearing on Celebs Go Dating, has since made a full recovery and is urging others to be cautious about using the medication for weight loss.
Speaking on her Dream On podcast, Moss revealed that she had been taking Ozempic for two weeks without proper knowledge of the correct dosage. Medical professionals later told her that the dose she administered was equivalent to someone weighing 100lbs, while she weighs around nine stone. The overdose led to severe dehydration, vomiting, a loss of colour in her face, and a seizure that prompted her emergency hospital visit.
Just days after her ordeal, Moss posted a series of photos on Instagram showing her in a tiny white bikini, captioning the post: “Ibiza again this weekend.” In the images, she models the barely-there swimwear in her bathroom, with her blonde hair styled in beachy waves and no makeup. She also shared a clip of herself in a white shirt reading ‘Do my boobs look big in this’, paired with a black mini skirt and silver head scarf.
Moss’s hospital dash follows her admission that she regretted taking Ozempic, a drug designed for type-2 diabetes, and warned fans about the risks. A spokesperson for Ozempic told the Daily Star: “We understand and empathise with the health challenges this patient has faced. While we cannot comment on this particular incident, the safety and wellbeing of patients taking our medicines is our top priority.”
