Piers Morgan Tears Into Harry and Meghan With Brutal Six-Word Question
Piers Morgan's Brutal Six Words for Harry and Meghan

Piers Morgan has launched a fresh attack on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, accusing the couple of hypocrisy over privacy while claiming Prince William should strip them of their royal titles when he becomes King. The broadcaster made the comments during an appearance on The Royals Uncensored, where he discussed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's relationship with the Royal Family.

Morgan's Brutal Six-Word Question

Morgan criticised Harry and Meghan over their repeated calls for privacy, arguing that their actions did not match their public messaging. Speaking on the programme, he blasted the pair with six brutal words: "How do you trust these two?"

His comments come ahead of the Sussexes' visit to the UK in July to mark the one-year countdown event to the 2027 Invictus Games. Reports have also indicated that they intend to bring a camera crew to document the visit for an upcoming Netflix project.

Accusations of Hypocrisy

Piers went on to accuse the couple of preaching about protecting children's privacy online while continuing to share images of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on social media to promote Meghan's personal brand. Morgan argued there was an "absolute hypocrisy" in their approach and said he found it "quite sickening."

He also revisited the couple's criticism of the Royal Family, saying they had continued to publicly attack the monarchy while senior royals were dealing with serious health issues, including the final illnesses of the late Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II.

Invictus Games Visit and Distraction Concerns

Despite praising the Invictus Games as "a perfectly valid, good event," Morgan said he believed any future UK appearance by the Duke of Sussex risked becoming a distraction. He described the prospect as "this big circus of the Great Return."

When Harry and Meghan come in July, it will be the first time their children have been to England. Looking ahead, Morgan suggested the relationship between Prince Harry and his brother remains beyond repair. "I don't think William wants anything to do with it," he said.

Call to Strip Royal Titles

Morgan added that, in his view, Prince William should remove Harry and Meghan's royal titles if he becomes monarch. He argued he had believed for years that the couple should lose their titles, claiming they wanted to retain the benefits of being members of the Royal Family while distancing themselves from the institution.

He also referenced Queen Elizabeth II's well-known stance following the Sussexes' departure from royal duties, saying the late monarch had made clear there could be no "half in and half out" approach to royal life. Harry and Meghan stepped back as senior working royals in 2020 before relocating to California, where they have since launched a number of media projects while continuing to speak publicly about their experiences within the Royal Family.
