Peter Andre Slams Lee Andrews Over False Adoption Claims

Peter Andre has launched a furious attack on his ex-wife Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, after Andrews claimed he had adopted her five children. The singer, 53, insisted it is “categorically untrue” that Andrews has adopted his two children, Junior, 21, and Princess, 19.

Andre's Response to 'Lies'

A representative for Andre told Metro that the claims are “yet another lie” from Andrews, who has faced accusations of being a conman. The representative added: “They haven’t even met him!” Andrews, 43, made the claims in a video on the personalised message site Cameo, where he charges upwards of £26 per clip.

Andrews' Claims and Background

Andrews, whom Price married in January just days after meeting him, said in the Father's Day Cameo video: “I haven’t got children, but we’re trying. I’ve adopted five of them. I love my wife and I love her children.” This comes after Andrews was released from prison in Dubai last week following his arrest on reported fraud charges. He had been detained for a “private civil matter” last month but initially told Price he was kidnapped on suspicion of espionage.

Price's Silence and Children's Comments

Price, 48, has not yet commented on her husband's adoption claims. In February, Junior and Princess broke their silence on Price's sudden marriage to Andrews during a joint appearance on This Morning. Princess said: “I’ve not met him.” Junior added: “Our mum is her own person, she’s her own woman. She’s going to do what she’s going to do and at the end of the day, we’re supportive of her as long as she’s happy.”

Baby Plans and Legal Issues

Price previously revealed she wants to have Andrews' baby, and in February she said: “No, I’m not pregnant but one day I will be.” In March, Andrews told The Sun: “We’re trying for a baby. Obviously there’s conversations of surrogacy… We’ve spoken about doing the medical treatment in the UK.” Andrews' legal troubles include a travel ban in the UAE and allegations from his ex Dina Taji that he took out a £200,000 mortgage in her name without her knowledge. Two of his other exes have branded him a “liar” and urged Price to never give him any money.
