Peter Andre reverses decision, will appear in daughter's show

Peter Andre has confirmed he will appear in the upcoming third season of his daughter Princess Andre's ITV reality series 'The Princess Diaries', reversing his earlier decision to sit out. The 53-year-old singer, currently starring as Nikos in 'Mamma Mia! The Party' at The O2, told The Sun: 'For me, reality shows were fun back in the day, but now I like seeing the younger ones doing it. I'm more happy giving advice. I'm really proud of her. They're good kids.'

Peter's Role in Season Three

Explaining how he will feature, Andre said: 'I pop in a little bit. It's her show but I pop in. They came to see the show [Mamma Mia! The Party] and filmed it, so they'll be some of that footage.' The series, which follows Princess as she turns 19 and navigates early adulthood, has already aired two successful seasons on ITVX. The first season included appearances from her brother Junior and other family members, but notably excluded her mother Katie Price, sparking rumours of a rift. Princess later clarified on social media that there was no conflict and that timings simply worked for her father to appear instead.

Family Projects and Parenting Insights

Andre also teased a new TV project with his wife Emily MacDonagh, saying: 'I've got some big announcements, me and Emily have a massive announcement soon, but that's very soon. I'm so excited.' Meanwhile, Katie Price recently released her own tell-all reality series 'Katie Price: Nothing to Hide', produced by Louis Theroux's production company, which covers her life from birth to present day. Junior and Princess feature in the series, with an emotional moment where both break down in tears discussing Katie's drug use.

Reflecting on his parenting style now that his children are adults, Andre said: 'I am quite strict but I'm chilled now. They are quite grown up. They are really grounded and polite. My strictness has kind of calmed down. But I still have some strict rules, they can't have boyfriends and girlfriends in the bedroom and the reason I'm like that, even though they're adults, I don't want the younger kids seeing that.'

'The Princess Diaries' seasons one and two are currently available to stream on ITVX. Season three is expected later this year.
