Peter Andre has revealed that he needed dental treatment after a drunk fan accidentally kicked a microphone into his teeth while he was performing on stage. The singer shared the incident in a video on social media, explaining that the fan had a bit too much to drink and kicked their leg up, sending the mic straight into his mouth.
"Someone came up on stage, had a few too many to drink, kicked their leg up to have a bit of fun, kicked the mic, the mic went straight into my tooth and chipped it badly," Andre said. He added that he was in absolute pain and suffered multiple chips from the mishap.
Fortunately for the 52-year-old father of five, his wife Emily MacDonagh’s brother Tom owns an aesthetics clinic that offers private cosmetic dentistry called DentaQuest. Andre visited the clinic for treatment and later promoted the business, showing off his restored teeth and expressing relief that they were back to normal.
Andre, who married NHS doctor Emily in 2015, has three children with her and two from his previous marriage to Katie Price. The incident occurred amid recent reflections on parenthood, including his fears about children being introduced to drugs, after the tragic death of 11-year-old Olivia Curley.
