Peter Andre was every inch the proud father as he shared a rare video of his lookalike son Theo, nine, dancing to Michael Jackson. The singer, 53, uploaded a clip on Instagram on Tuesday of himself and Theo performing some of Michael's iconic moves.
The clip showed Theo impersonating the King of Pop while wearing a silver sparkly shirt, blazer and his signature white glove. It then flashed to Peter, who rocked the same outfit as he too danced to Michael's 1983 hit Human Nature, from his Thriller album.
Peter captioned the post: 'Like father, like son. Couldn’t skip this trend. Same DNA. Same taste in music.' While Peter keeps his youngest children with wife Emily often out of the spotlight, the singer has shared that Theo is a big fan of Michael Jackson.
Three weeks ago, Peter shared an impressive drawing Theo did of his idol and wrote: 'Theo’s drawings are getting incredible. He has great taste in music.' The Mysterious Girl hitmaker has son Junior, 20, and daughter Princess, 18, with ex-wife Katie Price, 48, and Millie, 12, Theo and Arabella, two, with his second wife of 11 years, NHS doctor Emily MacDonagh, 36.
Last month, Peter appeared on Loose Women where he discussed his upbringing and how it compares to his own parenting. Jane Moore asked him: 'Your mum and dad were quite strict when you were growing up and you were quite strict with Princess and Junior. We always say whenever we meet them how polite and lovely they are. Now you’re down to the two-year-olds, have you sort of like given up?'
The vocalist replied: 'Junior's fuming because he's...' Mother-of-three Myleene Klass interjected: 'I get that as well. I get that all the time, "you were really tough on me and they get away with murder".' Peter went on: 'The thing is, what my parents taught us, because I've always said how strict they were - they were Jehovah's Witnesses and they were Greek, so it was like, Greek tradition and the Jehovah's Witness strictness. I said all of the things my Dad said to me, my kids and when they were about 10, I was like, "I don’t agree with half of this stuff" and it’s not that mum and dad didn’t do it out of love, it’s just so old fashioned.'
Myleene then asked: 'So you’re a real softie now, for the little ones?' To which Peter replied: 'Too much, I’m so chilled, it’s actually quite annoying for Emily. She’s like, "Can you back me up?" and I’m like, "It’s just kids…" I’m strict on manners - that’s my one thing is manners and I always say things like "if someone says to you, how was your day or was school, you don’t just do that one answer, you know the answer. "Good" - you don’t do that. You say "Good thank you, how was yours? How are you?" It annoys the kids, but eventually they get it. That’s what they do.'
Junior and Princess are reportedly set to land a six-figure deal to host their own podcast together. Sources claim the siblings parked a major bidding war between broadcasters eager to sign them. It's thought that Princess and Junior impressed bosses after displaying their strong bond on Princess' ITV2 reality show, The Princess Diaries. The series, which follows the influencer as she navigates life in the spotlight, featured many appearances from her older brother, with both siblings frequently showing their support for each other's career.
