Peter Andre was forced to spring into action during a family holiday in Cyprus after his eight-year-old son Theo became trapped inside a public toilet cubicle. The singer, 52, scaled the side of the toilet block and squeezed through an open window to rescue the boy at Camel Park in Mazotos.
Andre documented the incident on Instagram, explaining in a video that the door was locked from both sides. He passed Theo through the gap before struggling to climb back out himself, prompting one of his children to shout: 'You're embarrassing us dad!' The star later wrote: 'Saved the day and I'm still embarrassing.'
Fans praised him as a 'superhero dad', with one commenting: 'In all seriousness, well done superhero dad.' Andre shares Theo and daughters Amelia and Arabella with wife Emily, and has two older children, Junior and Princess, from his previous marriage to Katie Price.
The rescue came after Andre broke his silence on social media regarding recent comments from Price, stating he had stayed silent for 16 years but felt compelled to address 'lies' about his children's welfare. A spokesperson for Price said she was in a 'better headspace' and was dealing with the matter through her lawyers.
