Peter and Harriet Phillips have been crowned the "most socially significant people" in Britain for 2026 by Tatler magazine. The newlyweds topped the magazine's list of 101 "social thoroughbreds" who are leading the field with their "charisma, oomph and that certain something."
Royal Newlyweds Take the Top Spot
Princess Anne's son and NHS paediatric specialist nurse Harriet married in a private ceremony in the Cotswolds last month, with most of the Royal Family attending the intimate affair. The couple is No. 1 of the magazine's 2026 "cream of the crop."
The outlet reports: "The Royal Family's one-time most eligible bachelor married NHS nurse Harriet in the Cotswolds village of Kemble this summer. Find them on the circuit, enjoying each other's company at Wimbledon, Badminton and the Royal Charity Polo Cup. Just days after their romantic nuptials, the new Mr and Mrs Phillips graced Royal Ascot – in the company of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in the carriage procession, no less. They're the new royal couple to watch."
Other Notable Names on the List
Also on the list were Viscount and Viscountess Astor and Poppy Delevingne and Archie Keswick, with each couple getting the second and third spot, respectively. Others on the list included newlyweds Dua Lipa and Callum Turner, the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe, Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt, as well as Kemi and Hamish Badenoch.
