Peter Phillips, the nephew of King Charles III, and his wife Harriet have been named the most socially significant people in Britain by Tatler magazine. The couple topped the society bible's 2026 Social Power Index, which lists the 100 individuals deemed to have the greatest social influence in the country.
Royal Connection and Recent Marriage
Phillips, the son of Princess Anne and 19th in line to the throne, began dating Harriet in 2024. Their engagement was announced in August last year, and they married last month. Harriet works as a nurse for the National Health Service (NHS). The couple's rise to the top of the list comes shortly after their wedding.
Top 10 Highlights
The Phillipses were placed ahead of Viscount and Viscountess Astor, who secured second place. Poppy Delevingne and her partner Archie Keswick came third. Delevingne, 40, is a socialite, actress, and model, and the sister of model Cara Delevingne. She went public with her billionaire businessman partner in 2024, and the couple welcomed their daughter Kaia Moon a year ago.
Other notable names in the Top 10 include actor Stanley Tucci and his wife, literary agent Felicity Blunt; artist Dame Tracey Emin; and Conservative Party leader Kemi Badenoch and her husband Hamish Badenoch. Singer Dua Lipa and actor Callum Turner, who married last month, also made the list. The couple tied the knot at London's Old Marylebone Town Hall before reportedly celebrating with a three-day wedding in Sicily, Italy.
