Pete Wicks Opens Up About Reunion with Olivia Attwood
Pete Wicks has described his reunion with Olivia Attwood as 'magical' after the couple spent two and a half weeks apart. The former TOWIE star shared details on the latest episode of the Staying Relevant podcast, which he co-hosts with Sam Thompson.
Wicks explained that he travelled to see Attwood while she was working in Ibiza. "I hadn't seen Liv for two and a half weeks, so went to see Liv," he said. He went on to gush about their time together, saying, "It was wonderful to see her... we had a fabulous time." He mentioned backflipping off boats, enjoying dinners, and visiting clubs, adding, "It was magical, is probably the best way to describe it."
Romance Confirmed on Social Media
The couple's romance had been rumoured for months, following Attwood's split from her footballer husband Bradley Dack after two years of marriage. Last month, photos emerged of the pair on a romantic holiday in the south of France. However, it was only last week that they officially confirmed their relationship when Wicks shared a series of loved-up photos on Instagram.
The black-and-white snaps showed the couple lying together on a yacht and Wicks kissing Attwood's head. "I guess someone has to go first…IBIZA," he captioned the post. The confirmation came after Attwood shared that she was working in Ibiza and had been joined by Wicks and her friends.
Olivia Attwood's Cautious Approach
Earlier, Attwood had spoken about the relationship on her podcast, Olivia's House. She said she wanted to protect herself while figuring out the nature of the relationship. "I do have a person. It’s the worst kept secret. But also I’m keeping it very close to my chest at the moment while I know what it is," she explained.
She added that she was not planning to "hard launch" anyone publicly, preferring to keep things private until she was sure. The couple's reunion in Ibiza appears to have strengthened their bond, with Wicks expressing how much he missed her during their time apart.
