Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has spoken about the support she received from her bandmates following her split from Zayn Malik. The 22-year-old appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden in the US, where she credited her fellow group members for helping her through the difficult time.
During the interview, James Corden asked Edwards how she was doing. 'Do you know what, I am good,' she replied, as the audience cheered. 'We are having an absolute blast in America, it's all going so well. And I just wake up every day and thank my lucky stars I have these three girls,' she said, hugging bandmate Jade Thirwell.
Edwards had previously been asked about the end of her engagement to Zayn Malik on the day the news broke. An E! news presenter addressed the topic, but her bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock interjected, saying, 'We don't really want to talk about it.'
Despite the personal turmoil, Little Mix have been enjoying a successful promotional tour in the US. They have joined Taylor Swift's 'girl squad', performing their hit 'Black Magic' on stage with her in Santa Clara, California. The group also performed at the Teen Choice Awards, where they won the Choice Music Breakout Artist award.
