Holly Ramsay is reportedly no longer speaking to Adam Peaty's sister Bethany after a disagreement over a paid-for interview about the influencer's pregnancy. The 26-year-old announced she was expecting her first child with the Olympic swimmer last month, coinciding with Bethany's own pregnancy due weeks later.
A source told the Mail on Sunday that Bethany contacted Holly out of respect to ask if she could answer questions about Holly's baby news. Holly reportedly declined and warned that she and Adam would 'take a step back' if Bethany spoke publicly about the pregnancy.
Bethany, who has two children with her partner Daniel Rogerson, was one of Holly's bridesmaids at the couple's wedding in December. She was the only member of Adam's immediate family to attend amid a wider rift between the swimmer and his relatives. Adam's mother Caroline did not attend the wedding, and his aunt Louise Williams criticised the couple on social media.
Adam is reportedly caught in the middle and has been trying to repair the relationship between his wife and sister. Caroline previously spoke about her distress over the family breakdown, saying she holds no ill will and hopes for a long and happy marriage for the couple.
The couple have not publicly addressed the latest claims. The Mirror has contacted representatives for comment but had not received a response at the time of publication.
