Adam Peaty's aunt has publicly criticised Holly Ramsay, accusing her of being 'divisive and hurtful' after Peaty's mother was removed from the wedding guest list. The Olympian's aunt, Louise, took to Instagram to express her anger over the treatment of her sister, Caroline.
Louise wrote: 'As a bride, you deserve that. However, as a person you were divisive and hurtful towards a woman, who I have loved and continue to love deeply.' She highlighted that while Adam invited his father-in-law to his stag night, Holly did not invite Caroline to her hen do, despite inviting her own mother, sisters, and even her mother's assistant.
The tension reportedly stems from a disagreement over the dress Caroline had bought for the wedding. The couple disapproved of the outfit and offered to buy her a new one, but plans to go shopping in Bath were cancelled due to a knife attack in Cambridgeshire that caused train cancellations. Adam was reportedly furious about the change in plans.
It appears that both Caroline and Holly have unfollowed each other on Instagram. Reports suggest that only Adam's sister, Bethany, will attend the wedding from his side of the family. Bethany attended Holly's hen do alongside other guests including Victoria Beckham.
