Paul Hollywood's Brother Assaulted in Kent Dog Walk Attack

Great British Bake Off star Paul Hollywood has appealed for public help after his brother Lee was assaulted during a dog walk in Leasowe, Merseyside. The attack occurred on Friday, August 8, at around 7:10 pm on Links View Playing fields, near Shackleton Road.

According to a police appeal issued by Wirral Police, the victim, a man in his 50s, was walking his dog when his pet began barking at another dog being walked by a male. The dogs were separated, but the other male became irate and, as the victim walked away, approached him from behind, punched him to the floor, and kicked him in the face and back before fleeing.

The victim suffered injuries to his back and face and was taken to hospital for treatment. Detective Inspector Phil Ryan described it as a 'nasty and unprovoked assault' and urged witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
