Patsy Kensit's fifth engagement has ended less than a year after business manager Patric Cassidy proposed, dashing her hopes of a fifth wedding. The 55-year-old EastEnders actress has been married four times previously, with a rock star and a DJ among her former husbands.
Kensit's first marriage was to musician Dan Donovan in 1988 when she was 20. Donovan, a keyboardist for Big Audio Dynamite, and Kensit divorced in 1991 after three years. She then married Simple Minds star Jim Kerr in 1992, welcoming a son named James in 1993 before divorcing in 1996.
In 1995, Kensit began dating Oasis rock star Liam Gallagher, marrying him in 1997. They had a son, Lennon, in September 1999, but divorced in 2000. Kensit later married DJ Jeremy Healy in 2009 after a brief split, but they divorced in 2010.
Outside marriage, Kensit has been linked to footballer Ally McCoist, rap artist Killa Kela, footballer Ryan Giggs, comedian David Walliams, and footballer Michael Gray. She has stated that she considers only her marriages to Jim Kerr and Liam Gallagher as significant.
Kensit's engagement to Patric Cassidy was announced earlier this year after he proposed at Scotts in Mayfair last September and again on a beach in February. However, the couple split in July, with a spokesperson confirming the separation and requesting privacy.
