Patrick Kielty Set for Return to Late Late Show After Split from Cat Deeley

Patrick Kielty is preparing to return to Irish television as host of The Late Late Show on September 12, starting his third season. The comedian's comeback comes just days after his estranged wife, Cat Deeley, was seen without her wedding ring in London.

Kielty, 54, and Deeley, 48, announced their separation on July 29, stating in a joint email: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.” They continue to co-parent their sons Milo, seven, and James, five.

Following the split, Kielty has relocated to a “divorce house” in Dundrum, County Down, seeking support from close friends and family. Meanwhile, Deeley was photographed running errands near the couple's former marital home, wearing a white shirt and blue denim flares, with the diamond ring notably absent from her ring finger.

Deeley has been spending time in Sitges, Spain, with her hairdresser Ben Skervin. She is expected to return to her role on This Morning on September 1, alongside co-host Ben Shephard.

The former couple met while co-hosting BBC's Fame Academy in 2002 and married in Rome in 2012. Kielty's return to The Late Late Show marks a significant professional milestone amid personal changes.
