Paris Jackson Shares Rare Photo of Mum Debbie Rowe

Paris Jackson shared a heartfelt tribute to her mother Debbie Rowe on Mother's Day, posting a rare photo of the two together as they continue to strengthen their bond. The 28-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson took to Instagram Stories on Sunday to mark the occasion, captioning the image: "Happy Mother's Day to the lady they used for my template during the cloning process."

Reconciliation and Bonding

Paris and Debbie have been spending more time together in recent years after a period of estrangement. The model and actress has previously described her mother as her "rock" and noted how much they resemble each other. In a 2023 interview with Willow Smith, Paris said: "It's cool. Getting to know her, seeing how similar we are... We look exactly alike. It's just cool having her as a friend."

Family Background

Debbie Rowe married Michael Jackson in a secret ceremony in Sydney, Australia, in 1996. The couple divorced in 1999, and Debbie agreed to give Michael full custody of their children, Paris and Prince. After Michael's death in 2009, the children were raised by their grandmother Katherine Jackson. Debbie largely stayed out of the public eye until she appeared in the 2019 documentary Who Really Killed Michael Jackson, where she expressed regret for not helping Michael with his addiction to painkillers.

Paris's Health Journey

In 2023, Paris revealed she has a hole in her septum from past drug abuse. She explained on Instagram that she chooses not to undergo surgery to fix it because the required painkillers could trigger a relapse. "You have to take pills when you do a surgery that gnarly, and I don't want to fuck with that," she said, adding that drugs "ruined my life."

Paris has been open about her struggles with addiction and mental health, crediting her mother's support during her recovery. Debbie also battled breast cancer, diagnosed in 2016, and Paris was by her side during chemotherapy treatments.
