Pamela Anderson was spotted enjoying a relaxed coffee outing with friends in Malibu this Tuesday, confidently displaying a fresh-faced, makeup-free look. The 58-year-old actress appeared in high spirits, sharing laughter with her companions under the Californian sun.
Embracing a Natural Glow
The Baywatch icon opted for a casual all-white ensemble, consisting of a cosy jumper and matching tracksuit bottoms. She completed the laid-back look with white trainers, a chic cloche hat, and a tan handbag. This appearance continues her public shift away from heavy makeup, a change she initiated in 2023 when she consciously stepped back from her Playboy pinup image.
In a past conversation with People magazine, Anderson clarified that she is "not opposed to makeup" but revealed she had previously used it as a form of "protection." Now, she finds this embrace of her natural skin to be "another form of freedom."
From Protection to Personal Liberation
"I'm not thinking about how I look. I'm creating a character and I'm kind of in transition," she explained. "Sometimes I catch myself in the mirror and go 'Oh! Geez, who's that?' But isn't that so much fun? It's just great." Anderson added with a smile, "I feel like I've kind of cracked the code. I look like my Instagram photos!"
Her perspective on beauty has also evolved. The star now finds beauty "in interesting faces, older faces," a stark contrast to the glamorous, heavily made-up persona she was known for in the 1990s. This transformation coincided with the launch of her skincare line, Sonsie, in 2023. By 2024, Pamela had taken on the role of co-owner.
Her first co-created product was the line's Cleansing Mousse, infused with rose hip essence and inspired by her own Vancouver rose garden.

Beyond her changing beauty routine, Anderson has successfully reignited her acting career. She received critical acclaim for her dramatic performance in 2024's The Last Showgirl and enjoyed box office success alongside Liam Neeson in the remake of The Naked Gun.
She is currently filming Love Is Not the Answer, directed by Michael Cera and starring Jamie Dornan and Steve Coogan. Reflecting on her past public image while promoting her cookbook in August 2024, she told Better Homes & Gardens, "People have this pneumatic kind of image of me from Playboy to Baywatch... But I also played into the image that was created around me. I'm glad I did all that, but I'm really glad I'm where I am now."
