Pamela Anderson: One Thing She'd Never Do at Playboy Mansion

Pamela Anderson has opened up about the one thing she would never do when visiting the Playboy Mansion: stay overnight. The actress, who turns 59 on July 1, revealed her strict personal boundaries during a past appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

Pamela Anderson's First Visit to the Playboy Mansion

Anderson recalled her first visit to the mansion, saying: 'You know, my first day at the Playboy Mansion I was in my acid wash jeans. You know and some rock t-shirt with my sneakers on with the little balls on the socks.' She was told she could choose outfits from the mansion's closet, but she declined.

Refusing to Stay Overnight

When asked about staying at the mansion, Anderson explained: 'I wouldn't stay there. I was nervous. This is my spidey sense. I always thought, even when I came here, the first thing they said was 'you'll stay at the Playboy Mansion'. I said 'no, I'll stay at a hotel'.' She added that staff called her to invite her to 'fight night,' but she initially thought they wanted her to 'jello-wrestle.' They assured her she could just watch Mike Tyson fight on the big screen.

Life at the Mansion: 'Like the Twilight Zone'

Anderson also described the mansion's atmosphere, quoting photographer David LaChapelle: 'Going to the Playboy Mansion was like the twilight zone. Like, he thought he saw 100 of me from the back, and then they would turn around and not be me.' She noted that while many women lived there, she maintained her independence.

Friendship with Hugh Hefner

Despite her boundaries, Anderson has spoken warmly of Hugh Hefner, who died in 2017 at age 91. She has referred to their 'close friendship' in interviews, with no indication of a romantic relationship. Anderson rose to fame as Playboy's February 1990 Playmate of the Month and holds the record for the most Playboy cover appearances.
