Liam Neeson's son Daniel Jack has given his blessing to his father's rumoured relationship with Pamela Anderson, after the pair appeared together on US chat show Watch What Happens Live. The 73-year-old Schindler's List star and former Baywatch actress, 58, have been sparking romance rumours since meeting on the set of the new Naked Gun film.
During the interview, Anderson applied lip balm to Neeson's lips before host Andy Cohen addressed the dating speculation directly. Cohen told the couple: 'All of your friends are very much “stanning” this relationship, as the kids say.' Turning to Daniel Jack, who was in the studio audience, Cohen asked for his approval, to which he replied: 'Yeah.'
Cohen then asked the pair how many times they have 'truly been in love'. Neeson answered twice, while Anderson said 'one and a half'. Anderson, who has been married five times, praised Neeson's kindness and generosity. Neeson, whose wife Natasha Richardson died in 2009, described Anderson as a 'giggler' and said he loves her 'spirit'.
The couple first met while filming the comedy reboot The Naked Gun, which is now in cinemas. Neeson previously told The Today Show that they discovered a 'lovely, budding chemistry' on set and decided to 'let it breathe'. Despite recent displays of affection, both have downplayed the romance in past interviews, with Neeson saying he is 'done with dating' and Anderson calling him 'a friend forever'.
