Paddy Pimblett's wife Laura Gregory celebrated his UFC 329 victory by sharing X-rated content on Instagram. The British fighter submitted Benoit Saint-Denis in just 52 seconds during the co-main event of Conor McGregor's comeback defeat to Max Holloway.
Rapid Victory Boosts Title Hopes
Pimblett's win, his 24th from 28 MMA fights, strengthened his claim for a lightweight title shot. The 31-year-old Scouser submitted Saint-Denis with a rear-naked choke, earning a potential rematch with Justin Gaethje, who defeated him in January.
Laura Gregory, who married Pimblett in May 2023, posted a backstage photo and a video of her hugging him by the cage. Her caption read: "Mine and my girls whole world, you make us so f****** proud every single day we love you so much."
Relationship Challenges and Public Life
The couple, together since their teenage years, have faced ups and downs. Laura revealed on the Tea Time with Livvy podcast that they have "split up more times than I count." She also discussed the difficulty of a public relationship, saying: "For me, I feel like this life can make you unhappy. I have shut so many people off from my life because I just don't trust no one."
The pair got engaged in Thailand in early 2020 and welcomed twin girls in April 2024. Laura has 189,000 Instagram followers and often shares bikini photos.
Pimblett Calls Out Gaethje and Others
After the fight, Pimblett said: "Sub of the year. I'm like a spider. When I've got hold of you, you don't get out and it's as simple as that. Everyone counted me out. Everyone said I was finished because I lost to Gaethje but what now? Am I finished? Who wants it next? I'll beat Ilia [Topuria] up, I'll rematch Justin [Gaethje], I'll fight Conor [McGregor] or Max [Holloway] next. Give me everyone and I'll punch their head in."
