Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic Black Sabbath frontman, has died at the age of 76, leaving behind his wife Sharon after 43 years of marriage. The couple, who shared three children together—Aimee, Kelly, and Jack—were known for their enduring bond, which faced many ups and downs over the decades.
In a poignant moment on their podcast, The Osbournes Podcast, Ozzy made a raw confession about his feelings for Sharon. He described her as his 'soulmate' but admitted that at times he was 'angry with her' or 'jealous,' and even said, 'Sometimes I want to f***ing kill her.' However, he emphasised, 'Through it all, at the end of the day, I love her more than anything in the world. I don't want to live without her.'
The couple first met when Sharon was just 18, while Ozzy was still a member of Black Sabbath, then managed by her father, Don Arden. After Ozzy was fired from the band in 1979, Sharon took over his management, and their relationship blossomed. They married in 1982, the same year his divorce from his first wife, Thelma Riley, was finalised.
Ozzy's later years were marked by Parkinson's disease, but he underwent a strict training programme to perform at his final show, Back To The Beginning, at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5. In a statement, the family said: 'It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love.'
