Ozzy Osbourne, the legendary Black Sabbath frontman, was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame this week, but two very special guests were missing from the celebration.
His youngest children, Kelly and Jack Osbourne, were unable to attend the star-studded event due to prior commitments. While their absence was felt, the siblings made sure to send their love and support from afar.
Why Kelly and Jack Missed the Big Day
Kelly Osbourne, 39, was busy filming her new project, while Jack, 38, had prior work obligations that couldn’t be rescheduled. Despite not being there in person, both took to social media to congratulate their father on the milestone.
Kelly shared a touching tribute on Instagram, writing, "Dad, you’ve earned this a thousand times over. So proud of you!" Jack also posted a heartfelt message, calling Ozzy "the ultimate rock legend and the best dad."
A Family Affair (Almost)
The ceremony was still a family affair, with Ozzy’s wife and manager, Sharon Osbourne, and their eldest daughter, Aimee, by his side. Fellow rock icons, including Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, also attended to celebrate the Prince of Darkness’s legacy.
Ozzy, 75, was visibly emotional during the event, thanking fans and family for their unwavering support throughout his five-decade-long career.
Ozzy’s Legacy Cemented in Hollywood
The Hollywood Walk of Fame star is the latest accolade in Ozzy’s storied career, which includes multiple Grammy Awards, platinum records, and a successful solo career after Black Sabbath. Despite health struggles in recent years, the rocker continues to inspire generations of musicians and fans.
While Kelly and Jack couldn’t make it, their love for their father was unmistakable—proving that family pride transcends physical presence.
