Ozzy Osbourne's Classic Moments from The Osbournes on Anniversary of His Death
Ozzy Osbourne's Classic Moments from The Osbournes

Music legend Ozzy Osbourne died just weeks after his farewell concert back in July 2025, cementing his legacy as one of the most recognisable and influential musicians in rock history. The "Prince of Darkness", born John Michael Osbourne, was renowned for his distinctive sound and mesmerising live shows. His passing, which resulted from cardiac arrest, devastated fans worldwide who regarded him as a treasured icon in the music industry. He was equally celebrated for countless memorable scenes in his reality programme, The Osbournes, which starred his wife Sharon, their daughter Kelly, and their son Jack. The show aired from 2002 to 2005 and remains available on Prime Video - here are some of the star's most legendary moments.

Ozzy's battle with the telly

One of the programme's most amusing sequences occurred when Ozzy and his family had relocated to a new mansion and were busy arranging their belongings. Ozzy appeared in the lounge, attempting to master the television and its complicated remote control. "What the f*** am I doing?" he questioned while jabbing at different buttons. "I'm stuck on the weather channel," he revealed before mysterious bleeping started somewhere behind him. "What the f*** is that?" he enquired with bewilderment. The remote was able to operate all the technology throughout the house, yet the family hadn't received any written guidance on how it worked. Ozzy grew increasingly frustrated as he bashed the remote and yelled to his son: "Jack! Can you get this f****** TV to work!"

Ozzy moans about the dogs

The programme showcased numerous instances where Ozzy vented his frustrations about the family pets, as the canines would frequently relieve themselves on the costly rugs and furnishings. "It's like Doctor Dolittle's f****** house here," he once declared. In a legendary moment, he was livid when one of the pooches urinated on a vintage rug, bellowing: "Who's p*****? Who's p***** over my f****** carpet?" He carried on raging at the culprit dog while Sharon started clearing up the puddle. "Why do they do it, Sharon? What's the deal, man?" he yelled. Ozzy then launched into another tirade as Sharon grabbed one of his towels to mop up the mess, instead of using her own.

Ozzy's neighbour feud

One of the most memorable plot lines from the series was a dispute that unfolded during the episode 'Won't You Be My Neighbor?', which spiralled into an all-out residential battle. The Osbournes were incensed with their neighbours for throwing loud garden gatherings throughout the night and singing until the wee hours. Following unsuccessful attempts to reason with them, Jack and Sharon attempted to blast death metal tunes to overpower their noise, while Sharon hurled food over their fence. Ozzy then decided to handle things himself by throwing a wooden log through their window.

Ozzy's fishing trip

One of the most heartwarming moments from the programme occurred when Ozzy finally succeeded in taking his son Jack on a fishing expedition after 17 years of attempts. He said: "It's taken me 17 years, that's as old as my son is, to finally go fishing with my son, like every father should do once in his life. Every time I have attempted it before in the past, their mates are coming and we have had to turn around and go back. If you keep on persevering, you will eventually get what you want." He was then seen assisting Jack in reeling in a catch, as they spotted a seal in the water.

The Osbournes is available to stream on Prime Video.
