Osaka's Fashion Statement Steals the Show
Naomi Osaka turned Centre Court into a catwalk at Wimbledon 2026, debuting a stunning kimono-inspired walk-on dress before her fourth-round clash with world No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka. The Japanese 14th seed has captivated the All England Club throughout the first week with a series of Japanese-themed outfits, each match featuring a unique variation.
The 28-year-old's latest ensemble, a flowing white gown with intricate Japanese detailing, drew cheers from the British crowd as she stepped onto the main show court. The gown featured a split design with drapes on either side and a long, layered dress covering her legs.
Osaka's Path to Centre Court
Osaka earned her first Centre Court appearance of the 2026 Championships by defeating Elsa Jacquemot (Court No. 3), Anastasia Gasanova (Court No. 2), and Daria Kasatkina (Court No. 1) in the preceding rounds. Each match showcased a different outfit, building anticipation for her showdown with Sabalenka, a four-time Grand Slam champion.
Osaka herself is a four-time major winner, with all titles coming on hard courts. She won the Australian Open in 2019 and 2021, and the US Open in 2018 and 2020.
