Olivia Attwood has sparked fresh speculation about her friendship breakdown after sharing a cryptic Instagram post featuring a snake ring. The Love Island star, who recently fell out with former best friend and assistant Ryan Kay, posed with a Bvlgari ring and wrote: 'The only snake I want in my life.'
The post comes days after Attwood admitted she 'didn't see things I should have' regarding the friendship. In a previous Instagram Story, she said: 'I'm just very hurt if I'm honest. Prior to what you might have read, I had to respect myself and draw a line.' She added that the situation 'played out over a couple of months' and that she would explain 'at some point'.
Attwood also expressed gratitude for her 'small circle that gets smaller the longer I am in this industry', accusing unnamed individuals of feeding 'the press with false narratives'. The fallout reportedly began after Attwood's wild trip to Ibiza with radio co-star Pete Wicks, which displeased her husband Bradley Dack.
However, sources close to Ryan Kay have denied any toxicity or betrayal. An insider told the Mirror: 'There wasn't any toxicity, betrayal or fallout between the pair. They are simply no longer working together. He has no ill will towards Olivia and has immense respect and admiration for her.' The source added that Dack has 'never liked Ryan' and that the two men have never communicated separately.
Ryan, who has remained silent on the rumours, recently confirmed he is now working with Attwood's Loose Women co-star GK Barry. Attwood and Kay got matching tattoos last summer but have since parted ways professionally and personally.
