Georgia May Foote Hints at Breakup with Cryptic Instagram Post

Georgia May Foote has hinted she may have been dumped by ex-boyfriend George Alsford, after posting a cryptic message on Instagram. The former Coronation Street star, 26, wrote on Monday that she needs to 'protect her heart', just days after blasting former beau Sean Ward on Twitter.

On her Instagram stories, Foote wrote: 'Sometimes you just gotta be your own hero and save your own little heart. Because sometimes the people you can't imagine living without, can actually live without you.' The split was confirmed last week, with sources telling The Sun that the couple ended their 18-month relationship after a series of rows.

The cryptic post came days after Foote appeared to hit back at ex Sean Ward, who tweeted 'Karma's a patient b***h' alongside a laughing cry emoji. Foote responded on social media: 'Karma ain't a b***h to people who do nothing wrong. Guilt makes people do/say funny things doesn't it. I always have to keep my mouth shut and i'm the one who gets the s**t.' She added: 'Say what u want cz i really dont care what u all think. I know everything about MY life.'

Foote and Ward ended their eight-month romance in 2015 after the Strictly Come Dancing final, amid reports of Ward's insecurity over her closeness with dance partner Giovanni Pernice. Foote later had a seven-month relationship with Pernice.

A source told The Sun: 'They tried to make it work but called it quits after a series of arguments. Georgia has been left devastated, as she really thought he was The One. She's been struggling.' A representative for Foote had been contacted for comment at the time.
