Olivia Attwood has alarmed fans after appearing with a black eye while on holiday in Hamburg, Germany. The 34-year-old reality star turned investigative journalist casually addressed the injury on Instagram Stories, saying: "I'm in Hamburg baby. Just a quick update from me and my black eye." She did not explain how she got the shiner.
Attwood, who rose to fame on Love Island in 2017, has since reinvented herself as a cosmetic surgery expert and documentary maker. She was promoting her upcoming projects, including the fourth season of her ITV series Getting Filthy Rich, which investigates sex work and other industries. "The stories are amazing. The girls are amazing. It's more money, more boobs, more everything," she said.
Fans expressed concern on social media, with one asking: "Anyone know what happened with the black eye?" Attwood did not provide further details. She also discussed her marriage to footballer Bradley Dack, 32, saying she wants to be a "better wife" this year after a period of being "like ships in the night" due to work commitments.
Appearing on ITV's This Morning, Attwood joked about her New Year's resolution to give her husband an easier time. Host Ben Shephard teased: "She's going to tidy up the kitchen after you make an amazing meal for her!" Attwood confirmed Dack is a great cook and supportive of her career, occasionally appearing in her documentaries.
The new season of Getting Filthy Rich begins airing on ITV on Sunday.
