Olivia Attwood has revealed that a concussion, not romance, was behind her cuddly boat photos with Pete Wicks in Ibiza. The former Love Island star told friends they 'shouldn't have let me drink' after a woman accidentally dunked her in the water, leaving her with a head injury.
What Happened on the Yacht
In a recent episode of her podcast, Olivia's House, Attwood was joined by best friend Mark Johnson. They discussed the infamous 2025 photos showing Attwood in a white bikini leaning back on Wicks as he hugged her from behind. The images reportedly left her then-husband Bradley Dack 'fuming'.
Attwood called it a 'funny story' and said: 'I was obviously leaning back on him, like, on the yacht, but nothing happened.' Johnson then interrupted to reveal what really happened, as Attwood barely had any memory.
'Yeah, but let's go first, for when that woman dunked you. Do you remember? Do you remember she slipped drunk and dunked you? Do you remember?' Johnson asked.
The Concussion Revealed
A shocked Attwood asked if the woman had 'hit' her. 'Did she hit me in the head? Did she give me a concussion? Because I don't remember...'
Johnson explained that when Attwood was getting out of the water and back onto the boat, one of the women onboard fell down the stairs and then 'dunked' Attwood back in as she slid across the boat. He added that Attwood was 'crying'. Attwood asked if that was why Pete was 'cuddling me'.
'I remember hitting my head, but I thought I hit inside,' Attwood admitted. 'I remember hitting my head but I don't remember how it happened.' Addressing all the friends that were there, she added: 'I had a concussion, guys! You shouldn't have let me drink...'
Aftermath of the Photo
Attwood also said that her friend Megan Elliot had noticed that someone was taking pictures of them from another boat, but the others didn't believe her. 'We were actually mocking her for it,' Attwood said. But the following day, they found out that Megan was right.
Months after the photo was released, Attwood and her then-husband Bradley Dack separated. Attwood moved out of their shared home and into her own apartment. Shortly afterwards, it was reported that Attwood and Wicks had started seeing each other, but this was not confirmed.
Olivia's House is a Platform Media original show.
