Olive Oil Brushing Makes Frozen Pizza Crispier, Says TikTok Cook
Olive Oil Makes Frozen Pizza Crispier, TikTok Tip

A cook on TikTok has shared a simple trick to make frozen pizza taste better: brushing the crust with olive oil before baking. The food creator demonstrated the hack in a video, explaining that the extra step takes only about 20 seconds but results in a noticeably crispier crust.

According to Simply Recipes, brushing the crust with olive oil helps it become much crispier, improving both texture and flavour. For an even more indulgent pizza, the cook also recommends adding fresh mozzarella before baking.

Extra Upgrades for Frozen Pizza

For a bigger upgrade, the cook suggests cooking the pizza on a pizza stone rather than a standard baking tray, which creates a crispier base that resembles a takeaway-style pizza. Showing off the finished pizza, she said: "Can you believe this was store bought? I can't. Frozen pizza. What."
